| Below are the classes available to you as a student of Pokémon Battle Academy. Some are mandatory, and some are optional electives based on your personal preferences. You are allowed 6 classes per year. Each class has at least a maximum amount of years of 3.
Mandatory Courses
First Years Students who are in their first year of PBA are first years
World History Learn about the history of the Pokémon world and how it evolved into the world today, no pun intended!
Strategics Learn how to properly use movesets to their true potential, through the power of prediction, mathematics, and skill.
Sparring A class dedicated to using your knowledge on the field of battle. Each day, the class watches 2 or 3 battles between two random students, and through this they are expected to take notes and watch attentively.
Second Years Students who are in their first year of PBA are first years
Regional History Select either Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos History Classes for a more in depth look into the regions' histories.

Optional Courses
Type Based Classes 1, 2, and 3 There are 17 classes under this category that cater to each individual type. These classes are good for trainers who have a lot of one Pokémon or who are aspiring to become a Gym Leader. You may take multiple of these classes in one year. You take Type Based Class 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
Gym Management A class for trainers aspiring to become a Gym Leader. It teaches trainers how to properly manage their Gyms through employees, challengers, and more.
Moveset 1, 2, and 3 A class that delves into each Pokémon move to truly educate a student on exactly what they do, as to let them choose how to better themselves when picking movesets. You take Moveset 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
Coordination 1, 2, and 3 A class for aspiring coordinators. This course will show you how to properly dominate contests. You take Coordination 1, then work your way up each year to 3. You take Coordination 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
Geography 1 and 2 This course teaches students about the many different landmarks in the Pokémon world, as well as what Pokémon live where. This is so that trainers can build teams easily and efficiently. You take Geography 1, then upgrade to Geography 2 your next year.
Nursing 1, 2, and 3 Ever since the international "You Don't Have to be Nurse Joy to Heal" Bill was passed in 2000, many people have been hoping to get into the field of Pokémon nursing. This course will teach you how to do so! You take Nursing 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
Item Management This class shows you how to use the broad spectrum of items available in the Pokémon universe.
Pokémon League History 1 and 2 Learn about the Pokémon League and how it started, as well as the rough history it undertook. You take Pokémon League History 1, then work your way up to Pokémon History 2 your next year.
Pokéconomics 1 and 2 Only able to be taken after Item Management, due to it being its spiritual successor. Pokéconomics delves into running a business as well as what all items are worth, so you can start your own Pokémart business! You take Pokéconomics 1, then work your way up to Pokéconomics 2 your next year.
Photography Wildlife photography is popular in the Pokémon World. This class teaches you how to catch the perfect shots of Pokémon in their native habitat.
Connoisseurship 1, 2, and 3 Helps students properly evaluate relationships between trainers and their Pokémon, and teaches students how to mend broken bonds between the two. This course will teach you how to do so! You take Connoisseurship 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
Breeding 1, 2, and 3 Learn how to properly breed Pokémon, as to develop creatures with perfect attributes and unique movesets, as well as start your own daycare business. This course will teach you how to do so! You take Breeding 1, then work your way up each year to 3.
League A sister class to Pokémon League History, that shows you how the League works as well as educates you in the many jobs available under the Pokémon League.
Legends 1 and 2 A class that teaches students about the many myths and lores surrounding the Pokémon world, and educates them on the known legendary Pokémon.
Biology 1, 2, and 3 Gives students an in depth look on how Pokémon function and survive on a scientific level. These classes go through the Nationaldex in a steady and evaluative way.
Journalism 1, 2, and 3 Funded by Jubilife TV, this class shows you how to journey around the Pokémon world with a career in journalism. You take Journalism 1, then work your way up each year until you reach 3.
